Job Description

The Data, Technology, and Engineering (DTE) group is seeking a Sr. Director, Source-to-Pay Technology Lead to support the team during a temporary leave period. This is a ~6-7-month contract position with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will start in early/mid-June to ensure sufficient overlap and transition time. The contractor will work closely with the Source-to-Pay Technology team to ensure seamless operations and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source-to-Pay Technology Expertise:
    • ProcessUnity (Third Party Risk Management system)
    • DocuSign (eSignature platform) – GxP and non-GxP accounts
    • Icertis (Contract Lifecycle Management system)
    • Coupa (Procure-to-Pay and eSourcing platform)
    • Concur (Travel & Expense platform) – nice to have
    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Source-to-Pay (S2P) process
    • Experience implementing and/or managing the following (or similar) S2P technologies:
  • Team Guidance:
    • Provide day-to-day operational support, maintenance, and enhancements guidance for the S2P technologies
    • Conduct 1:1s with S2P Technology team members and lead weekly team meetings
  • Project Execution:
    • S2P Orchestration Project Implement a new S2P orchestration solution to enhance the guided buying experience for Vertexians. This tool will integrate with VaiDA (Vertex’s AI Digital Assistant) and other S2P technologies using AI/LLMs
    • Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Phase 2 Drive major improvements to ProcessUnity and its integrations with other systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve the future vision of TPRM
    • Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Phase 2 Lead initiatives to build new integrations and implement AI capabilities in Icertis
    • Coupa Enhancements Develop a business case and implement Coupa Analytics and InvoiceSmash (RSO, CR invoicing tool, replacement)
    • Support additional projects, such as Project Apex (driven by Commercial) and MDM Transformation (impacting Concur and Icertis)
    • Work with Project Managers, the S2P Technology team, and extended project teams to deliver key projects, including:
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Exhibit excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and present to executive audiences

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Source-to-Pay processes and technologies, including ProcessUnity, DocuSign, Icertis, Coupa, and Concur (preferred)
  • Strong execution and project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results
  • Experience in guiding teams through day-to-day operations and project execution
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience
  • SOX and GxP experience are a plus

Pay Range

$115-$120/hr
