We’re hiring for a hybrid role. You’ll work on-site with your team several days each week (typically 2–3), with the specific days set by your manager. Because regular in-person collaboration is central to this job, we look for candidates who live within about 50 miles of the office.

About the role:

The Senior Director, Solution Marketing – Cross Domain & Hardsec provides strategic leadership for portfolio positioning, go-to-market strategy, product marketing, industry analyst relations, and market development across Everfox’s Cross Domain and Hardsec offerings.

This leader translates Everfox’s differentiated technologies into mission-centered solution narratives and ensures these capabilities are positioned effectively in their markets and cohesively within Everfox’s broader mission technology strategy. The role anticipates evolving customer missions, threats, architectures, procurement priorities, and competitive dynamics across U.S. and allied markets and converts those insights into recommendations that influence portfolio strategy, product priorities, positioning, and go-to-market execution.

Herndon, VA (Hybrid, 2-3 days per week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Own market-facing strategy for Cross Domain & Hardsec, linking corporate strategy, customer missions, product capabilities, and growth priorities.
  • Develop deep expertise in Cross Domain, Hardsec, high-assurance security, mission data, and adjacent markets; anticipate shifts across U.S. and allied environments.
  • Identify emerging mission requirements, technology trends, competitive threats, and opportunities; convert insights into recommendations for Product, Sales, Marketing, and executives.
  • Define segmentation, priority audiences, mission use cases, buyer groups, and value propositions; ensure cohesive positioning within Everfox’s mission technology strategy.
  • Lead positioning, messaging, and product marketing; create differentiated narratives that connect capabilities to mission outcomes and customer priorities.
  • Establish messaging architecture activated consistently across Sales, Demand Generation, Content, Brand, Communications, partners, and regional teams; develop competitive positioning and sales enablement.
  • Own go-to-market for new products, major releases, and portfolio initiatives; build a disciplined launch framework with clear objectives, activation plans, readiness, and success measures.
  • Ensure launches start from customer and mission needs; partner with Demand Generation and Regional Marketing to drive integrated campaigns in U.S. and international markets.
  • Partner with Sales and Sales Enablement to deliver narratives, tools, training, and competitive guidance that accelerate adoption.
  • Establish ongoing mechanisms for customer, mission, competitive, analyst, and partner insight; engage directly to identify evolving needs.
  • Translate market and buyer insights into portfolio and GTM strategy; identify opportunities across defense, intelligence, government, critical infrastructure, and allied markets.
  • Own industry analyst relations for the portfolio; execute proactive plans and prepare executives and subject matter experts for engagements.
  • Ensure analysts understand Everfox’s strategy, capabilities, market position, mission value, and vision; monitor perspectives and convert into actionable recommendations; appropriately amplify third-party validation with Communications and Content/Brand Engagement.
  • Develop global and regional portfolio strategies within export-control and information-handling requirements; enable regional teams with approved positioning, content, and tools.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Solution Marketing team; set clear responsibilities, processes, and standards.
  • Serve as senior Marketing partner to Product leadership; represent the voice of customer and market in planning; strengthen cross-functional relationships across Product, Sales, Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing.

Key Knowledge and Skills

  • Deep domain knowledge of Cross Domain, Hardsec, high-assurance security, mission data, and adjacent technologies.
  • Expertise in solution positioning, messaging architecture, product marketing, and sales enablement.
  • Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into mission-aligned narratives for executive, mission, technical, and business audiences.
  • Strong market intelligence across customer missions, competitive dynamics, analyst perspectives, and procurement environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading disciplined launches and integrated go-to-market programs.
  • Experience building analyst relations programs and managing proactive engagement plans.
  • Cross-functional leadership with Product, Sales, Engineering, Demand Generation, Brand, Communications, and regional teams.
  • Data-driven decision making with KPI definition and optimization.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex workflows, governance, and content/tool development at scale.

Key Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years in solution/product marketing or portfolio strategy in cybersecurity, defense technology, or high-assurance environments.
  • Track record leading teams and cross-functional programs spanning positioning, launches, competitive strategy, and analyst relations.
  • Experience operating within export-control and information-handling requirements across U.S. and allied markets.
  • Ability to travel for customer, analyst, internal, and market engagement

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:

$216,300.00-286,600.00 USD

The actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to a base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverages.
