Department Operations

Leading, planning and organizing of department operation to provide clinical trial services required for customers, and achieving division's goal.

Major Responsibilities

• Manage staff in accordance with organization's policies and applicable regulations, including without limitation: planning, assigning, and directing work; managing performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems; acting as a coach and mentor for subordinates as they develop in their role.
• Direct the hiring and selection process for new staff by conducting candidate review through participation in the interviewing process. Establish methods to develop and evaluate onboarding processes.
• Develop standard processes to ensure that staff has the proper materials, systems access and training to complete job responsibilities. Oversee the execution of the training plan, SOP review and mentored training experiences.
• Support the project managers and ensure projects executive timeline, quality, and manage project cost to complete projects successfully.
• Meet customer needs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Comply with professional ethics and act as a mentor for employees.
• Lead or participate in customer audit and regulatory inspections.
• Revise documents and SOPs and ensure compliance with company and division policies, SOPs, instructions or procedures.
• Responsible for project quality, progress, resource assignment and management.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor's degree and above is perfect.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Good command in English.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Good team communication and coordination skills.
• Be proactive and acknowledge the company culture.
• Be able to travel frequently.

Experiences

• As an Associate Director SMO, 8+ year experience in clinical with 5+ year management experience is preferred.
• As a Director SMO with 10+ year experience in clinical with 7+ year management experience is preferred.
• As a Senior Director SMO with 12+ year experience in clinical with 9+ year management experience is preferred.
