Who You Are

As Senior Director, Sales — Europe, you'll play a foundational role in establishing Ontic's presence across the UK and Europe. You'll start as an individual contributor, responsible for opening the market, building relationships with enterprise buyers, and developing pipeline. You're a builder and a seller who gets energized by creating something from the ground up.

You'll be the person creating early sales traction, proving the model, and laying the foundations — before evolving into a true player-coach who continues to win business while leading others. You'll work closely with Ontic's US-based leadership to determine where we play, how we win, and what it will take to build a scalable European business.

Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, this position combines strategic vision, entrepreneurial execution, and leadership capability and will play a central role in shaping Ontic’s brand, market reputation, and long-term revenue trajectory across Europe.

What You'll Do

Sales Execution & Revenue Growth

• Own the full enterprise sales cycle across the UK and Europe, from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close.
• Build new-business pipeline from the ground up and personally lead high-value, strategic opportunities through complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Develop trusted, executive-level relationships with enterprise buyers across corporate and physical security, risk, resilience, and adjacent functions.
• Accurately forecast pipeline and revenue performance, using market and pipeline insights to inform go-to-market priorities and investment decisions.
• Lead pricing, contracting, and commercial negotiations in alignment with Ontic’s corporate standards and regional market expectations.
• Partner closely with the CRO and US-based Sales, Solutions Consulting, Marketing, Customer Success, and executive leadership to drive opportunities and revenue growth.

Strategy & Market Development

• Translate Ontic’s global growth objectives into a focused, actionable go-to-market strategy for the UK and Europe.
• Identify the industries, accounts, buyer personas, and use cases where Ontic has the strongest opportunity to win.
• Establish effective pipeline-generation channels across outbound prospecting, industry events, partnerships, referrals, and other regional opportunities.
• Develop Ontic’s regional positioning and approach based on customer needs, competitive dynamics, and market conditions.

Leadership & Team Building

• Operate initially as a hands-on individual contributor, with the opportunity to build the regional organization as revenue and market demand grow.
• Build and lead a high-performing European sales team over time, attracting strong talent across priority markets.
• Establish a performance-driven, collaborative culture that reflects Ontic’s values while maintaining the entrepreneurial mindset required to build a new market.
• Develop clear expectations, accountability, and operating practices that enable the team to scale effectively.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Marketing to adapt messaging, demand generation, events, and brand strategy for European audiences.
• Collaborate with Product Management to bring regional customer and market insights into product strategy and innovation.
• Work closely with Legal, Finance, and Operations to support compliant, efficient regional deal execution and business operations.
• Represent Ontic externally at conferences, industry events, customer meetings, and executive forums, strengthening Ontic’s presence within the European security and risk community

Qualifications Required

• 8 plus years of sales and 4 plus years of leadership experience in enterprise software, SaaS, or related B2B technology sectors.
• Demonstrated success launching or scaling business operations in new markets or regions.
• Demonstrated success building pipeline from the ground up, rather than primarily inheriting established accounts or territories.
• Proven record of exceeding revenue goals through strategic account management and solution selling.
• Deep understanding of enterprise buying cycles and ability to navigate complex
• stakeholder environments.
• Strong analytical and operational discipline, with experience in forecasting, pipeline management, and performance measurement.
• Exceptional communication and executive presence, with the ability to represent Ontic to C-level audiences and partners.
• Experienced in cross-cultural leadership and managing distributed, high-performance teams.
• Strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and the ability to translate vision into measurable results.
• High integrity, collaborative spirit, and strong alignment with Ontic’s mission and values.
• Willingness to travel extensively 50% expected across the region.
• Experience working with corporate security teams with an understanding of corporate security needs, including their unique workflows, policies, and threat landscapes, is preferred.

Based in the UK, ideally London or within reasonable access to London, with the ability to travel across the UK, USA, and Europe as needed.
