Scope of Position
The Senior Director of Revenue Cycle provides executive leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for theWMC andOSUP Revenue Cycle and Patient Financial Services functions. This position is accountable for ensuring efficient, compliant, andhigh‑performingrevenue cycle operations that support financial sustainability, growth strategy, and patient experience.
The role partners closely with OSUP and OSUWMC leadership to deliver a seamless “one face” experience to patients and serves as a reliable partner in driving the success of Community Connect programs through aligned workflows, consistent performance standards, and shared financialobjectives
The Senior Director of Revenue Cycle Services is responsible and accountable for the strategic planning, leadership, and continuous quality and process improvement of Patient Financial Services operations. This role oversees all aspects of physician billing,hospital billing, collections, cash applications, and single billingoffice
This position is critical to theorganizations’financial performance, ensuring strong cash flow, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, andhigh levelsof patient and provider satisfaction. The Senior Director drives economies of scale,optimizesrevenue cycle performance, and ensures integration between OSUP and OSUWMC revenue cycle operations.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Twelve(12) or more years of progressive revenue cycle leadership experience in a large, complex healthcare or academic medical center.
Extensive knowledge of revenue cycle operations, regulatory requirements, and billingpractices
Experience overseeing a large patient financial services operation.
Strong understanding of clinical operations and their impact on revenue cycle performance.
Proven experience in an EPIC revenue cycle environmentstronglypreferred.
HFMA certificationpreferred
