Senior Director Regional Commercial Operations HNC North America

Location: Princeton, NJ/USA

Join a global leader in nutritional science as Senior Director Regional Commercial Operations HNC North America in our Health, Nutrition & Care (HNC) business as the end-to-end integrator across functions ensuring that the regional organization operates as one cohesive system.

This regional Chief Operating Officer is accountable for end-to-end operational, commercial execution, and customer service performance across the region. The role ensures seamless integration across Supply Chain, Commercial, and Customer Service to deliver superior customer experience, profitable growth, and operational excellence.

You’ll act as the execution engine of the region, translate strategy into disciplined delivery, drive cross-functional alignment, and ensure accountability to performance targets.

The role is critical to preventing siloed execution, driving operational excellence, and enabling scalable, consistent ways of working across NA,reports to Senior Vice President, North America, HNC and is a member of the regional HNC Leadership Team.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the regional Commercial Operation team (Commercial team, S&OP team, Customer Care team) with an emphasis on serving the customers and driving the impact to the business and contributing to value creation & business growth in our end customer segments (Early Life Nutrition, Medical Nutrition, Pharma, Dietary Supplements); act as the primary integrator across these segments
  • Translate global commercial strategy into regional strategy and drive price/volume/portfolio decisions and execution; Protect and grow regional market share in close alignment with Sales
  • Provide input for global commercial strategy and price setting based on regional dynamics to further improve price quotation, governance and monitoring process and systems; Prevent siloed decision-making by ensuring transparency and coordinated planning
  • Drive consistent service levels and communication standards across segments; nsure that customer issues are resolved holistically, not functionally; Embed customer feedback loops into operational and commercial decision-making
  • Matching regional demand and supply, and define and implement instruments to achieve high levels of service and supply reliability, while managing cost and working capital; Lead regional IBP process being responsible for regional demand management
  • End-to-end owner of premix including premix strategy, premix business steering, and premix process improvements

You Bring:

  • Minimum 15 years of proven experience in an international business-to-business environment in commercial operations (Customer Service, Demand Planning, Pricing) required
  • Proven leadership capabilities with experience managing large teams
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of trends in the served market and ability to create and amend a fluid strategy to align with these trends
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and in a matrix organization
  • Strong communication, presentation and customer-facing skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree required

The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $180,800-$235,000.

In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits. All benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements.
