SMCS-Valley AdministrationReporting to the Executive Director of the Valley Division, the Senior Director for Sacramento will lead in securing principal and major gifts through an integrated, innovative, and highly collaborative approach to fundraising. This role will have the opportunity to shape strategy and drive philanthropic initiatives aligned with Sutter Health's strategic priorities and contribute to the growth of a philanthropy program with extraordinary untapped potential. In partnership with senior leadership, physicians, and community leaders, the Senior Director will also help advance a comprehensive campaign that champions the advancement of clinical care programs, the transformation of mental health services, accelerated access to care, and elevated prevention and wellness initiatives.
Externally, this position represents Sutter Health in the community through various activities, ensuring that the mission and the programs of the entity are accurately understood and conducted. Will serve as a catalyst for community collaboration by developing the Sacramento region as a resource for the community in improving the health of its residents.

Pay Range is $161,616.00 to $258,585.60 / annual salary
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
