We are seeking an innovative and experienced Senior Director of Technology to lead the company's technology strategy and spearhead the development and implementation of cutting-edge solutions. This pivotal role requires a visionary leader with a robust technical background and exceptional leadership skills to drive their technology agenda in perfect alignment with their business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to engineering teams, cultivating a dynamic environment of collaboration, innovation, and accountability
Attract, nurture, and retain top-tier talent, building a high-performing team of engineers, quality analysts, and technical professionals
Orchestrate the comprehensive product development lifecycle, from concept ideation through requirements gathering, implementation, rigorous testing, and successful deployment
Architect and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions across our digital ecosystem, ensuring unparalleled performance, reliability, and security
Evaluate and adopt cutting-edge technologies, frameworks, and tools to propel our digital platforms' evolution and maintain competitive advantage
Refine and optimize agile methodologies to streamline rapid, iterative delivery of premium software solutions that exceed expectations
Establish and leverage advanced metrics, KPIs, and monitoring tools to track system performance, proactively identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous optimization
Articulate compelling technology strategies and provide regular updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Qualifications
10+ years of enterprise systems experience, including 4+ years in a leadership role
Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field
Profound technical acumen with expertise in modern software development practices, architecture, and infrastructure
Hands-on experience with APIs, React, Next.js, Node, Salesforce, Microservices, Systems Integrations, QA, Headless CMS, and Automation
Proven track record of driving technical strategy and making data-driven decisions that balance immediate needs with long-term vision
Expertise in platform selection, build vs. buy decision-making, with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and extensibility
In-depth understanding of site instrumentation, tagging, personalization, segmentation, and customer engagement tools & processes
Outstanding leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels
Familiarity with e-commerce systems (CMS, PIM, DAM) and internal applications (CRM, DMS) implementations is a significant advantage
