Job Description

Senior Director of Sales

Western Funding, Member of the Nowlake Group of Companies

ABOUT WESTERN FUNDING

Western Funding, Inc. (WFI) is a fast-growing, specialized consumer finance company and a subsidiary of Westlake Financial Services. WFI provides automobile financing to consumers across the credit spectrum through a nationwide network of automotive dealers.

WFI partners with dealers to originate, acquire, and service installment loan contracts, providing flexible financing solutions designed to help dealers sell more vehicles while expanding access to credit for consumers.

As WFI continues to scale, we are looking for an experienced sales executive who can build on that momentum and lead the next phase of our national growth.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Lead the Sales Organization. Accelerate Growth. Shape the Future of WFI.

As WFI’s Sales leader, the Senior Director of Sales will have overall leadership responsibility for the Sales organization and will play a critical role in driving the company's growth strategy throughout the nation.

This is an opportunity for a proven sales leader to build, scale, and optimize a high-performing national sales organization that drives dealer growth, funded loan volume, and overall company performance.

You will establish the vision and operating strategy for Sales, determine the optimal organizational structure, develop and coach sales leaders, strengthen performance management, and create a culture of accountability, execution, and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will work closely with Risk, Funding, Dealer Relations, Sales Training, Technology, and other Westlake Financial Services businesses to continually improve WFI's dealer value proposition and make it easier for dealers to do business with WFI—and easier for the Sales organization to sell.

This is a highly visible leadership role for an executive who is energized by growth, transformation, team development, dealer relationships, and measurable results.

The Location

  • Las Vegas, NV | On-Site
  • Travel: Approximately 1–2 weeks per month; nationwide travel required to lead and support WFI's Sales organization across the United States.

WHAT YOU'LL LEAD

Sales Strategy & Growth

  • Own and execute the national Sales strategy designed to accelerate growth in participating dealers and funded loan contracts.
  • Set and monitor sales objectives, priorities, KPIs, and performance expectations aligned with WFI's business strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to expand market share, increase dealer penetration, and grow funded loan volume.
  • Continuously evaluate market trends, dealer needs, competitive activity, and opportunities for growth.

Sales Organization & Leadership

  • Serve as the senior leader and strategic voice for the WFI Sales organization.
  • Assess organizational health, identify opportunities for improvement, and lead initiatives that increase sales effectiveness.

Establish clear expectations, performance standards, accountability, and career development opportunities throughout the Sales organization.

  • Design and evolve the Sales organization to create the right balance of Inside and Outside Sales to support national growth.
  • Recruit, develop, retain, and coach high-performing sales leaders and sales professionals.
  • Foster a high-performance culture built around ownership, teamwork, execution, and results.

Dealer Growth & Partnerships

  • Strengthen relationships with automotive dealers to increase dealer participation and loyalty.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the dealer experience and remove barriers to doing business with WFI.
  • Serve as a senior representative of WFI with key dealer relationships and strategic partners.

Cross-Functional & Enterprise Leadership

  • Partner closely with Risk, Funding, Dealer Relations, Sales Training, Technology, and Operations to continuously improve WFI's products, processes, and dealer experience.
  • Balance aggressive growth objectives with WFI's target risk profile and business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage the scale and capabilities of the broader Westlake Financial Services enterprise.
  • Influence enterprise resources and align teams around common business objectives.

Sales Performance & Infrastructure

  • Establish meaningful sales metrics and reporting that provide visibility into performance.
  • Evaluate, streamline, and optimize sales processes, systems, tools, and workflows.
  • Partner with Sales Training to strengthen new-hire onboarding, ongoing development, coaching, and sales effectiveness.
  • Evaluate and evolve sales incentive programs to drive performance, accountability, and alignment with company objectives.
  • Leverage technology and data to improve sales productivity, visibility, and execution.
