Summary
Provides senior leadership and guidance to Retail and Logistics operations.  Develops strategic goals to ensure systems, procedures, and departments drive profitable growth.  Maximizes revenues from donated goods, products, and services.  Demonstrates a keen understanding of business operations and develops strategic goals to ensure retail and logistics systems, procedures, and departments drive profitable growth.   Guides and promotes employee development.  Ensures satisfactory relationships with internal and external customers.
Essential Job Duties
Senior Leadership/ Retail Operations/ Donations and Services
- Leads and supervises District Managers in the retail store operations and oversight of Store Managers.
- Leads and supervises the E-Commerce Manager and Floating Store Managers.
- Leads and supervises the Director of Logistics Operations
- Provides direct oversight of Donated Goods Retail / E-Commerce /Logistics operations.
- Oversees and directs retail operations and processing of donated goods.
- Oversees and directs logistics operations and aftermarket processes.
- Creates business strategies that optimize organizational capabilities and align communications, accountabilities, resources, internal processes, and ongoing measurement systems to ensure strategic priorities yield sustainable results.
- Develops and executes strategic plans to increase sales, market share, and profitability.
- Conducts market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential partnerships.
- Collaborates with marketing department to create and implement promotional campaigns and strategies.
- Monitors and analyzes business performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
- Champions and builds the LLGI brand and promotes a spirit of accountability and collaboration for retail leadership.
- In partnership with the Vice President of Finance, develops and implements annual budgets and business goals.
- In partnership with Chief People Officer, drive successful onboarding and training initiatives with all levels of staff in the Retail and Logistics departments.
- Collaborates with retail and organizational leadership teams to develop and implement short and long-range plans that project sustainable growth.
- Analyzes sales reports and business results and takes appropriate action to capitalize on strengths and deficiencies of product and market; monitors the sales history of various products to maximize efficiency and sales.
- Oversees new store openings; collaborates with Chief Operating Officer on site selection, and drives execution.
- Works in collaboration with retail management to establish staffing levels and budgets for individual departments and stores.
- Consolidates projected revenues and expenses from individual budgets; monitors department revenues and expenses; investigates variances; implements a plan of action.
- Establishes relationships with vendors; purchases new goods and seasonal inventory.
- Ensures consistency in marketing and branding throughout retail stores.
- Identifies and implements business solutions for retail locations that need specific support.
- Recruits, trains, evaluates, and disciplines staff, documents and communicates performance and behavioral concerns to the Human Resources department; builds a bench of future retail leaders.
- Ensures established policies and procedures are followed; oversees the development of new policies and procedures.
- Partners with Retail Leadership and Human Resources staff on human resources issues.
- Champions the implementation of change and ensures buy-in.
- Builds trust by interacting with others in a way that gives them confidence.
- Travels to locations within the LLGI territory.

QualificationsEducation, Experience, and Credentials
Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration, operations management or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Requires five years of retail experience, operations experience or a combination of both, with a minimum of four years management experience in a multi-unit environment
Requires a valid driver's license, safe driving record, proof of insurance and reliable transportation.
Requires CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain certification within six months of employment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Requires proficiency with the Google business platform and/or Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel; and the ability to utilize other software systems such as point of sale and human resource information systems.
Maintains confidentiality of information related to LLGI operations, financial matters, and personnel matters.

Physical Requirements
Scope of work includes office, light industrial, and warehouse settings.
Requires ability to work within the context of these environments sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping, lifting up to 30 pounds.

Fast-paced environment with short deadlines and regular instances of critical or unusual situations
Requires ability to work in a light industrial/warehouse setting with moderate exposure to heat, cold, dirt, dust, pet hair, mold, metals, rubber, plastics, latex, and other allergens
Subject to work in an office, light warehouse, store showroom, and surrounding grounds setting
Requires frequent travel to LLGI locations
