The Senior Director of PMO will lead the strategic planning, execution, and governance of a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and capital improvement projects for Power Contracting, LLC. This role is critical in establishing and maintaining a scalable, repeatable project management framework aligned with business objectives in the utility and construction sectors.
Essential Functions:
PMO Leadership & Strategy
Develop and implement PMO policies, standards, and procedures.
Establish project governance and performance metrics.
Align project execution with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Project Oversight
Oversee planning, budgeting, and execution of infrastructure projects.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Team Management
Lead and mentor a team of project managers and coordinators.
Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Provide professional development and training opportunities.
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with internal departments (engineering, procurement, finance) and external contractors.
Serve as the primary liaison between project teams and executive leadership.
Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
Technology & Tools
Select and implement project management software and tools.
Promote data-driven decision-making through dashboards and reporting.
