A global technology company is seeking an experienced Director of Logistics to lead and oversee the company’s worldwide logistics operations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage global import and export operations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
• Oversee a large logistics workforce, including several dozen employees across diverse logistics functions.
• Develop and implement strategies for operational excellence, scalability, and efficiency in logistics processes.
• Establish and maintain KPIs to monitor service levels, costs, and performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supply chain and logistics flows.
• Manage relationships with global freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and other logistics partners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Sales) to ensure alignment and smooth product flow.
• Ensure adherence to compliance, safety, and quality standards in all logistics operations.
• Lead large-scale projects to support business growth, including process automation and system implementations.
• Provide strategic direction while maintaining hands-on oversight of day-to-day logistics challenges.
• Develop, mentor, and retain top talent within the logistics organization, building strong leadership pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree an advantage.
• Extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management, with proven success in a global environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire large teams, including managers and frontline logistics staff.
• Strong knowledge of import/export processes, customs regulations, and international trade compliance.
• Experience negotiating and managing relationships with logistics service providers and vendors.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business needs into operational execution.
• Track record of driving operational efficiency and cost optimization initiatives.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Strong project management skills, including experience with system implementations or process automation.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities across global teams.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and high-growth business environment.
