The Senior Director of Information Technology provides strategic leadership for the enterprise technology platforms that support the organization’s nationwide clinical and operational footprint, including 900+ clinic locations, fabrication facilities, and corporate operations.

This role is accountable for the strategy, reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of the organization’s core infrastructure and technology services, including enterprise networking, telecommunications, cloud infrastructure, service management, end-user computing, and technology integration for acquisitions.

The Senior Director partners closely with executive leadership, clinical operations, and corporate stakeholders to ensure technology platforms enable high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and continued organizational growth. This leader will drive infrastructure modernization, operational maturity, and scalable technology capabilities across a highly distributed healthcare environment.

Your Impact

Enterprise Infrastructure Strategy

Own the strategy and performance of the organization’s core technology infrastructure platforms supporting nationwide clinical operations, including:

  • Enterprise network infrastructure supporting connectivity across more than 900 clinic locations and fabrication facilities
  • Telecommunications platforms, including UCaaS, CCaaS, and enterprise communications services
  • Cloud infrastructure and services within Microsoft Azure
  • End-user computing platforms supporting clinical and corporate users
  • Ensure infrastructure platforms operate with high availability, strong security posture, and the scalability required to support continued expansion of the organization’s clinical footprint

IT Operations & Service Delivery

Provide executive leadership for the organization’s technology operations and service management functions, ensuring consistent and high-quality service delivery across the enterprise.

Responsibilities include:

  • Establishing operational governance aligned with IT service management best practices
  • Driving improvements in service reliability, operational performance, and user experience
  • Leading modernization initiatives focused on automation, monitoring, and operational efficiency
  • Establishing performance metrics and service standards that support enterprise technology delivery

Technology Integration for Growth & Acquisitions

Own the enterprise technology integration strategy supporting clinic acquisitions and expansion initiatives. Responsibilities include:

  • Establishing scalable frameworks for rapid and secure onboarding of newly acquired clinics
  • Leading technology due diligence and integration planning for acquisitions
  • Ensuring seamless deployment of infrastructure, communications platforms, and user services
  • Partnering with executive leadership, corporate development, and clinical operations to support the organization’s growth strategy

Organizational Leadership

Lead and develop a high-performing infrastructure and operations organization responsible for delivering reliable technology services across a highly distributed healthcare environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building scalable teams and operational structures to support enterprise growth
  • Establishing accountability and operational excellence across infrastructure and support functions
  • Developing strategic vendor partnerships and technology sourcing strategies
  • Driving a culture of service excellence, continuous improvement, and operational discipline

Strategic Impact

This role plays a critical leadership position in enabling the organization’s ability to:

  • Deliver reliable and secure technology services across a national clinical network and fabrication network.
  • Support continued growth through acquisitions and expansion
  • Modernize infrastructure platforms to improve operational efficiency and scalability
  • Enhance the technology experience for clinicians, staff, and patients

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10–15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience
  • Proven leadership of enterprise infrastructure and operations in large, multi-site organizations
  • Experience supporting distributed environments with hundreds of locations
  • Experience leading technology integration efforts associated with organizational growth or acquisitions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
