Role Overvie

Reporting directly to the CFO of Residential Fire, this role is a senior finance leadership position with end to end responsibility for the North America P&L. The right candidate is a decisive finance leader who pairs commercial judgment with analytical rigor. You own the numbers, drive the actions behind them, and hold the business accountable for delivering results. You will lead the finance team and playbook for the region, protecting and expanding margin, optimizing working capital, controlling SG&A, and partnering with commercial, operations, and functional leaders to shape strategy and execution

Key Responsibilities

Full P&L Responsibility: Responsibility for the $800M Residential Fire North America P&L—revenue, gross margin, SG&A, and EBITDA. Drive performance to plan, close gaps proactively, and deliver committed financial outcomes.

Drive Revenue and Margin Quality: Partner with commercial and product leaders to protect and expand margin through pricing discipline, mix optimization, cost recovery, and productivity. Challenge assumptions and hold the business accountable for margin execution.

Manage Working Capital: Lead the working capital agenda across receivables, inventory, and payables. Set targets, monitor performance, and drive cross-functional actions to improve cash conversion and free cash flow.

Control SG&A and Operating Expense: Take responsibility for SG&A performance and productivity. Establish spend discipline, evaluate investment trade-offs, and ensure resources are deployed against the highest-return priorities.

Lead Forecasting, Planning, and R&O: Lead the forecast, monthly R&O, and annual operating plan. Drive forecast accuracy, surface risks and opportunities early, and translate them into decisive management actions.

Business Partner with Impact: Serve as a trusted advisor and challenger to the CFO, Segment President, and cross-functional leadership. Translate financial insight into clear recommendations that drive commercial, operational, and strategic decisions.

Build Process and Analytical Rigor: Establish standardized, scalable finance processes for close, forecasting, reporting, and performance management. Deploy dashboards and analytics (Power BI preferred) that enable real-time visibility and faster decision making.

Consolidate and Communicate Results: Consolidate results across multiple manufacturing and distribution sites into clear, executive-ready reporting. Present performance, risks, and actions with clarity and conviction to senior leadership.

Lead and Develop Talent: Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team. Set clear expectations, coach direct reports, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
