Job Description

Schedule: Full-time| Monday – Friday | 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Pay Range: $130,000 to $150,000 (salaried exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.

As a Senior Director of Finance, you’ll serve as the operational leader of Vivie’s finance function, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial information across Vivie and its affiliates. This role is focused on financial stewardship, accountability, operational finance, accounting oversight, reporting, revenue cycle, audit and regulatory compliance, internal controls, data integrity, KPI governance, and finance team leadership. You’ll partner closely with Revenue Cycle, Accounting, Treasury, Payroll, Operations, and executive leaders to strengthen financial processes, support budget accountability, and provide reliable financial reporting for decision-making

As a Senior Director of Finance, you will:

  • Lead Financial Oversight & Reporting – Oversee preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with accounting standards. Manage system interfaces and provide executive-level reporting to senior leaders and the Board.
  • Ensure Compliance & Risk Management – Oversee audits, Medicare and Medicaid cost reports, and tax filings for all affiliates. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and develop internal controls, including segregation of duties.
  • Oversee KPI Governance & Data Integrity – Ensure financial and operational KPIs are consistently defined, reliable, and used to drive accountability for financial results.
  • Oversee Revenue Cycle Management & Performance – Provide strategic leadership and direct oversight of the Revenue Cycle Managers and revenue cycle function, including billing, collections, reimbursement, accounts receivable, cash application, payer compliance, and revenue integrity initiatives. Ensure revenue cycle operations support strong cash flow, accurate reimbursement, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction while driving continuous performance improvement and accountability for financial outcomes.
  • Develop Talent & Collaboration – Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while building succession strength, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement aligned with Vivie’s mission and values.

This job also requires:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in financial leadership; long-term care experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, case mix systems, and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to pass state mandated background checks.
  • Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with team members, residents, and visitors.
