The Retail & Consumer Goods (RCG) industry is being reshaped by persistent margin pressure, volatile demand, supply chain disruption, labor constraints, evolving consumer expectations, and rapid shifts in channels and business models. Retailers and consumer goods companies must deliver personalized, seamless experiences while improving forecasting, merchandising, pricing, inventory, store and frontline productivity, and end-to-end supply chain resilience. At the same time, they are modernizing legacy environments, protecting customer and enterprise data, meeting growing regulatory and sustainability requirements, and adopting AI responsibly at scale. Microsoft helps RCG organizations use cloud and AI to accelerate growth, strengthen operational agility, deepen consumer engagement, and build more resilient and sustainable businesses.
As the Solution Sales Enablement Manager for RCG, you will lead the team that serves as the pattern-recognition, repeatability, and scale engine for Frontier Company. You will turn business transformation opportunities won by Industry Advisors and delivered with Forward Deployed Engineers (FDE) Studios into repeatable and scalable industry AI transformation motions. By identifying the customer needs, use cases, commercial patterns, and delivery approaches that can be replicated across RCG, you will enable the field and partners to scale proven transformation outcomes beyond individual engagements.
You will guide the team in selectively engaging on strategic opportunities where RCG expertise can unlock reusable patterns or lighthouse outcomes, translating successful approaches into customer evidence, executive narratives, discovery and qualification mechanisms, business-value patterns, partner pathways, activation kits, and field-ready playbooks.
You will collaborate across Industry Advisory, FDE Studios, strategic account teams, Marketing, Customer Zero, CxO Advisory, engineering, and partners to accelerate customer outcomes and commercial impact. This includes supporting customer pursuits to drive pipeline acceleration and deal closing. Success requires strong people leadership, industry and sales acumen, executive influence, disciplined prioritization, and the ability to package what works so that others can execute at scale without bespoke SSE involvement in every engagement.
