Senior Director, Northern Europe Sales

  • Location: Copenhagen, Stockholm or Oslo

Are you an experienced commercial leader with a strong track record in sales strategy, market growth, and people leadership? Do you want to shape sales performance across Northern Europe and strengthen STG’s market position and profitability? Then you might be the person we are looking for.

As our new Senior Director, Northern Europe Sales, you will be part of the Sales Europe Leadership Team within Commercial and play an important role in developing the business, improving market share, and driving profitability across the region. You will work closely with divisional marketing, central functions, industry partners, wholesalers, and key external stakeholders to deliver commercial plans, portfolio strategies, and strong sales execution. This is a great opportunity to lead a high-impact commercial agenda in an international organization.

What your day will look like

  • Lead sales performance across Northern Europe, delivering annual objectives in line with budgets, business plans, and strategic priorities.
  • Grow market share across relevant product categories while improving profitability as P&L owner for Northern Europe sales.
  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing organization with clear goals, strong communication, and a performance-driven culture.
  • Professionalize sales execution by improving distribution, ranging, visibility, and CRM usage across markets.
  • Develop and implement portfolio, activity, pricing, and retailer activation strategies in collaboration with divisional and central teams.
  • Represent STG with relevant industry associations and ensure local legal developments and product compliance requirements are understood and managed.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven senior sales leadership experience, ideally within a complex multi-market commercial environment.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and P&L management capabilities with the ability to translate business plans into measurable results.
  • Excellent people leadership skills, with the ability to build capabilities, set direction, and create an open and collaborative working environment.
  • Experience with CRM tools, business intelligence, sales force management, and data-based decision-making.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across internal functions and external partners.
  • Fluency in English and one of the Nordic languages is required; additional relevant European languages are an advantage.
