The Senior Director – Infrastructure, Telecom & Operations is accountable for the strategy, reliability, security, performance, and modernization of Agropur’s enterprise infrastructure, end-user technology services, network, telecommunications, and related operational platforms across all countries where Agropur operates. This role ensures that technology foundations are resilient, scalable, secure, cost-effective, and aligned with business priorities, enabling operational continuity, digital transformation, and a high-quality employee technology experience.

Reporting to the SVP & Chief Information Officer (CIO), the Senior Director acts as a senior enterprise leader and trusted partner to business, IT, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, operations, and external partners. The incumbent defines and executes the infrastructure operations roadmap, oversees service delivery and operational governance, drives cloud and infrastructure modernization, and ensures effective transition of new or changed services into production. The role also leads crisis response, service resilience, vendor performance, budget stewardship, and the development of high-performing technical teams.

  • Salary scale 009: $ 164 200$ to $205 200 (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and skills related to the position.)

How you will contribute to collective success:

  • Define and execute the strategy and roadmap for infrastructure, networks, telecommunications, end-user services, and cloud platforms.
  • Ensure the availability, performance, security, and resilience of Agropur’s critical technology services.
  • Lead infrastructure operations, major incident management, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  • Drive technology modernization through cloud adoption, automation, and platform standardization.
  • Partner with business, IT, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, and manufacturing teams to align technology investments with business priorities.
  • Oversee IT services and OT networks supporting manufacturing plants and operations.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics, service levels, budgets, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage strategic vendors, technology partners, and service contracts.
  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team of technical leaders and experts.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives and strengthen IT’s role as a strategic business partner.

The type of player who fits in well with the team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Technology, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent executive-level experience is considered a strong asset.
  • 15+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership roles in enterprise infrastructure, technology operations, end-user services, cloud, telecommunications, or related functions.
  • Proven success leading leaders, senior technical teams, external partners, and managed service providers in complex, multi-site, or global environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute enterprise technology strategies, modernization programs, and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.

Technical Expertise

  • Strong expertise in hybrid infrastructure environments, cloud platforms, networking, telecommunications, data centers, collaboration technologies, automation, and IT service management (ITSM).
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles as they relate to infrastructure and technology operations.
  • Experience with OT networks and IT/OT environments in manufacturing settings, including operational resilience and secure connectivity.
  • Proven experience managing operational and capital budgets (OPEX/CAPEX), vendor agreements, and service delivery performance.
