We are looking for the highest performing commercial talent in the European data centre industry,individuals who want to build something materially larger than what exists today and who are motivated by the opportunity to help shape the next generation of AI infrastructure across Europe and the Middle East.

The Senior Director, Hyperscale Accounts will play a central role in Pure's growth strategy.

This individual will own and expand relationships with some of the world's largest hyperscale and AI infrastructure customers and will be responsible for converting Pure's rapidly expanding development pipeline into long-term strategic customer partnerships.

This is not simply an account management position.

You will be expected to:

• Originate significant new hyperscale opportunities.
• Build relationships at the most senior levels of our customers.
• Understand where hyperscalers and AI companies will require capacity years before that demand becomes obvious.
• Help shape Pure's development strategy around customer requirements.
• Lead complex commercial negotiations involving some of the largest data centre projects being developed in Europe.
• Ultimately take accountability for delivering substantial MW growth across the region.

The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of customers, power, real estate, engineering, construction, capital and strategy.

What You Will Own

You will take overall ownership of targeted hyperscale accounts and regional commercial performance, including:

• Developing deep, long-term relationships with hyperscale, AI and cloud customers at executive, technical and commercial levels.
• Taking direct accountability for targeted MW bookings, revenue and commercial outcomes.
• Developing and executing regional hyperscale account strategies.
• Identifying customer demand before it reaches the formal procurement or RFP stage.
• Creating strategic partnerships rather than simply responding to transactions.
• Leading the commercial strategy and customer engagement for €1bn+ data centre developments.
• Originating new hyperscale opportunities across Europe and the Middle East.
• Translating customer requirements into development opportunities across Pure's portfolio.
• Working directly with Development, Engineering, Design, Construction, Investment, Finance and Legal to create differentiated solutions.
• Leading complex technical and commercial negotiations.
• Serving as the senior escalation point for major customer relationships.
• Recruiting, developing and leading a high-performing commercial organization as Pure scales.

• Establish strategic relationships with the world's leading hyperscalers and AI infrastructure companies.
• Secure anchor customers for major new campuses.
• Convert development opportunities into contracted capacity.
• Expand existing customers across multiple Pure markets.
• Anticipate where the next wave of European AI infrastructure demand will emerge.
• Build a commercial organization capable of supporting a multi-gigawatt development platform.
• Establish Pure as the European hometown partner of choice for global technology companies deploying infrastructure across the region.

We are interested in exceptional people, not simply candidates who satisfy a checklist.

The successful candidate will likely have:

• 10+ years of hyperscale data centre experience.
• Deep relationships with major hyperscale, cloud and AI infrastructure customers.
• A track record of originating and closing large-scale data centre transactions.
• Experience working on projects measured in hundreds of millions or billions of euros.
• Strong understanding of hyperscale data-centre design, power, construction and commercial structures.
• The technical credibility to engage directly with sophisticated customer engineering and infrastructure organizations.
• Exceptional commercial judgment and negotiating ability.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
• The ability to navigate complex organizations while maintaining speed and accountability.
• A highly competitive, entrepreneurial and solutions-oriented mindset.
• The credibility to operate comfortably with customer executives, engineers, investors and Pure's senior leadership.
