The Senior Director translates business and HR strategy into scalable technology priorities, stabilizes and optimizes the current HR technology ecosystem, strengthens data integrity and controls, and builds the capabilities required to support future transformation and platform modernization. This leader directs others to resolve highly complex, cross-functional business problems; aligns HR, IT, People Analytics, HR Operations, HRBPs, COEs, Finance, Operations, and vendor partners around shared priorities; and drives programs that improve platform reliability, reduce manual work, strengthen decision-making, and improve teammate and leader experience across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, direction, and accountability for the HRIS function through multiple layers of managers, senior professional staff, offshore resources, and vendor partners, ensuring clear ownership, disciplined execution, measurable outcomes, and mature service delivery across HR platforms and business functions.
- Develop, translate, and execute the HR Technology strategy and multi-year roadmap across HR functional areas, aligning stabilization, AI enablement, platform optimization, operating model maturity, governance, data integrity, continuous improvement, and future transformation readiness with business priorities.
- Play a critical role in HR Transformation by leading HR through technology-enabled optimization and its AI journey, developing an HR AI strategy, prioritized roadmap, and governance aligned with enterprise standards to identify, evaluate, and safely deploy high-value use cases and solutions across the organization in partnership with HR leaders, IT, Legal, Compliance, and Information Security.
- Direct leaders and cross-functional partners to resolve highly complex or unusual business problems that affect multiple HR functions, platforms, stakeholder groups, markets/sites, and operational disciplines.
- Drive programs that impact broad internal customer and teammate experiences by improving system reliability, configuration discipline, testing, release management, integration controls, documentation, service performance, and overall platform effectiveness.
- Establish functional governance, intake, prioritization, decision rights, KPIs, dashboards, portfolio routines, and operating cadences that provide visibility into demand, backlog health, cycle time, SLA performance, release readiness, resource capacity, risks, and business outcomes.
- Own vendor strategy, performance management, delivery accountability, contract standards, renewals, negotiations, SOWs, augmented staffing, and financial stewardship for HR Technology partnerships.
- Ensure HR technology requirements, configuration, integrations, access, reporting, testing, deployment, controls, audit readiness, security, data governance, and stabilization activities are sustainable across mergers, acquisitions, compliance needs, and enterprise change.
