Senior Director of Product, Healthcare

WHOOP is seeking a Senior Director of Product, Healthcare to lead the strategy, development, and growth of healthcare products and experiences that continues to build on our strategy of personalized health. You will build and grow the Healthcare Product team while partnering across Product, Design, Clinical Science, Regulatory Affairs, Engineering, Data Science, and Commercial teams to translate physiological data, machine learning capabilities, and clinical insights into meaningful healthcare experiences. You will play a critical leadership role in identifying high-impact opportunities, bringing evidence-based products from concept through launch and scale, and helping establish WHOOP as a leader in digital health.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the WHOOP healthcare portfolio, translating broader company and Consumer Product priorities into clear investments, product initiatives, and measurable outcomes.
• Build, lead, and significantly scale a high-performing Healthcare Product team, developing product leaders and establishing the operating rhythms, capabilities, and culture needed to support a growing portfolio.
• Partner closely with leaders across Clinical Science, Data Science, Regulatory Affairs, Engineering, Design, Corporate Strategy and Commercial teams to bring evidence-based healthcare products and experiences from concept through launch and scale.
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities across areas such as preventive health, clinical monitoring, chronic condition management, digital biomarkers, personalized health insights, and healthcare provider solutions, balancing member value, clinical impact, feasibility, and business opportunity.
• Drive product decisions through a combination of scientific evidence, member and customer insights, market analysis, healthcare economics, product data, and business impact, while establishing clear frameworks for measuring engagement, clinical utility, adoption, retention, and financial performance.
• Ensure healthcare product strategies appropriately incorporate regulatory requirements, clinical evidence expectations, privacy considerations, and quality standards while representing the healthcare product vision with internal leaders and external healthcare stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 12+ years of product management experience, including substantial leadership experience building and scaling products within digital health, healthcare technology, medical devices, health platforms, or related industries.
• Demonstrated success developing and scaling healthcare or health-focused products that deliver measurable consumer, clinical, and business outcomes.
• Experience building, managing, and developing high-performing product teams, including leading product leaders and growing organizations through periods of significant expansion.
• Strong understanding of healthcare ecosystems and business models, including experience working with relevant stakeholders such as providers, payers, employers, health systems, or other healthcare organizations.
• Experience developing products within regulated or clinically oriented environments, with familiarity across areas such as clinical evidence generation, healthcare data, privacy, regulatory requirements, and quality processes.
• Proven ability to set product strategy while remaining close to execution, navigate ambiguity, prioritize across a complex portfolio, and influence senior cross-functional stakeholders without relying on direct authority.
• Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and business acumen, with the ability to translate complex scientific, clinical, technical, and commercial considerations into clear product decisions and organizational alignment.
• Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.

This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $230,000 - $270,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.

In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package.

These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs. While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate’s specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
