This role provides strategic leadership and oversight for the GBS Finance operations for the APAC region, AMEI region (through GCC) and Global Business Units (serviced out of GCC). The role will be responsible to develop a high performance team that focuses on operational excellence, strong controls, and delivering superior customer experience..
For APAC, we have two centres - one in Kuala Lumpur and the other in Shanghai. For AMEI and GBUs, the work is delivered through our GCC partner from Pune. Collectively the team size is 300+ FTE and growing.
You are a chartered accountant with 15+ years of Finance shared services experience.
Currently leading the delivery of a Finance shared service / GBS of a mature medium to large multinational organization
Demonstrated experience in impacting the quality and success of a finance shared service/analytics business
Experience in leading or supporting ERP changes
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels
Ability to lead virtual, global teams
Armed with a track record in transformation and change management, you thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and enjoy the challenges of deploying best practices on a global/ regional platform.
Able to build and nurture productive relationships at senior level and engage and manage high performing teams
Strong knowledge of business principles including but not limited to, financial management, project management, strategy, operational planning and administration
Six-sigma certification preferred
