Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Director, FSAAS Sales (Auto Valuation) based in Canada.

This is a senior individual-contributor sales role focused on driving new business bookings and expanding strategic customer relationships across the automotive valuation market. You will lead sophisticated, consultative sales engagements involving senior executives and multiple decision-makers. The role centers on positioning data, analytics, valuation, and advisory solutions that help financial services and automotive organizations make stronger lending, leasing, underwriting, and portfolio decisions. You’ll independently manage complex sales cycles from prospecting through negotiation and expansion. Success will depend on your ability to build executive-level relationships, identify high-value opportunities, and translate customer challenges into compelling commercial solutions. This is an opportunity for a commercially driven sales leader to make a measurable impact on bookings, revenue growth, and long-term customer value within a highly specialized market.

Accountabilities:

  • Own and execute new business sales strategies aligned with FSAAS growth priorities, with a strong focus on automotive valuation solutions.
  • Drive outbound prospecting, opportunity creation, and new-logo development across assigned industries and strategic accounts.
  • Position automotive valuation solutions, including used vehicle, leasing, and specialty vehicle valuation capabilities, to financial services and automotive customers.
  • Demonstrate how data-driven valuation and residual solutions can help customers assess vehicle values, manage portfolio risk, and improve lending, leasing, and underwriting decisions.
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles from initial engagement through proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Represent the business in executive-level meetings, client briefings, presentations, and commercial negotiations.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with VP-, SVP-, and C-level stakeholders within strategic and high-value accounts.
  • Develop account strategies based on customer priorities, market opportunities, and available solutions.
  • Identify and pursue cross-sell, upsell, renewal, and account expansion opportunities to increase long-term customer value.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned bookings targets while maintaining a healthy, accurately qualified, and actionable sales pipeline.
  • Provide reliable revenue forecasts and maintain disciplined opportunity and deal progression.
  • Lead expansion and contract negotiations while partnering with Customer Success on renewals and ongoing account growth.
  • Collaborate with Customer Solutions, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and other internal teams to advance opportunities and deliver compelling client solutions.
  • Provide market and customer insights that can inform sales strategy, product development, and future offerings.
  • Develop executive-level proposals, presentations, and value narratives that clearly connect solutions to customer business outcomes.
  • Monitor automotive industry trends, customer priorities, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities to inform sales strategy.
  • Contribute to long-term account development, new-logo engagement, pipeline conversion, and overall commercial growth.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • 10+ years of experience in enterprise, consultative B2B sales, with a demonstrated history of delivering meaningful bookings results.
    • Automotive industry experience is required, ideally with exposure to automotive financial services, valuation, lending, leasing, insurance, or related markets.
    • Proven success selling data-driven, SaaS, analytics, research, intelligence, valuation, or advisory solutions.
    • Strong experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and senior decision-makers.
    • Demonstrated ability to independently prospect, qualify, develop, negotiate, and close high-value opportunities.
    • Strong executive-level communication, presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
    • Commercially sharp with the ability to understand customer challenges and translate them into compelling business value.
    • Strong account management and strategic selling capabilities, including cross-sell, upsell, and expansion planning.
    • Highly organized and accountable, with disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity execution skills.
    • Comfortable working independently in a senior individual-contributor environment while collaborating effectively across functions.
    • Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer priorities, and competitive positioning within automotive-related industries.
    • Self-directed, proactive, resilient, and motivated by measurable commercial outcomes and long-term customer relationships.
    • Willingness to travel up to 30%
    • Benefits:

      • Starting salary range of $130,000–$150,000 USD, depending on relevant skills, education, qualifications, experience, performance, business needs, and geographic location.
      • Remote work environment within North America.
      • Opportunity to work with sophisticated automotive and financial services customers.
      • Senior-level individual contributor role with significant ownership over sales strategy, pipeline, and bookings outcomes.
      • Opportunity to sell high-impact data, analytics, valuation, and advisory solutions.
      • Exposure to executive-level stakeholders and complex enterprise sales environments.
      • Opportunity to drive strategic account expansion and long-term customer value.
      • Collaborative cross-functional environment spanning Sales, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Customer Solutions.
      • Commitment to an inclusive and diverse workplace.
      • Reasonable accommodations available throughout the recruitment and selection process.
