We are seeking a Senior Director, FinancialReportingto join our Finance teamIn this role, you willlead the external financial reporting functions andhave direct exposure to leaders within Accounting, Finance,Legaland other departments across the Company.Directs and manages the Company’s external reporting (including but not limited to Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and Annual Proxy Statement) and technical research and implementation of accounting issues to ensure compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements

The ideal candidate will be a leader with a passion to learn and a continuous improvement mindset with a focus on streamlining and building efficient controlled processes.The candidate must have the ability to evaluate complex arrangements and determine appropriate accounting conclusions and set direction over financial reporting processes.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to deliver and work under tight time constraints are a must

TASKS, DUTIES, & GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparation and filing ofthe Company’scurrent, quarterly and annualreportsto the SECsuch as Forms 8-K, 10-Q, 10-K,Section 16 filings;andassistingin the preparation of the proxystatement Preparation of the financial statements for disclosure,notes to financial statements and disclosures included in management’s discussion and analysisof the SECfilings.

• Manages stockplanadministration and ensures compliance

• Research new accounting standards, provide analyses, and drivecompliancewith GAAP, FASB, and SEC regulations

• Administrationand maintenanceofBeyond'sequity plan platform, share-based compensation accounting, reporting anddisclosure

• Interacts professionally and ethically, constructivelyparticipatingas a collaborative team member or leader in pursuit of common goals

• Collaborate with payroll group to process equity transactions and review taxation

• Process new awards, RSU lapses and prepare monthly/quarterly reconciliations

• Work with internal and external auditors to maintain SOX compliance 

• Compliance with international tax regulation for stock plan transactions

• Preparation of quarterly and annual GAAP checklist for review

• Other activities,dutiesor responsibilities that are assigned by the CFO

Supervisory Duties (if applicable)

• Lead, manage, and supervise all direct report(s)

• Accountable for developing Team Members through on-going performance feedback and career management coaching 

• Conduct performance reviews of direct reports 

• Mentor and develop team members, create succession plan, and identify/recruit key talent 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Technical Skills, and/or Previous Experience:

• Bachelor’sdegree or higher, Accounting or Financerequired

• Ten (10)or more years of accounting experience, with at least four (4)or moreyears in a public accounting firmat the level of Manager or above

• Experience working in publicly traded organization in a Financial Reporting role

• Must have a strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements and be able to understand complex accounting literature and apply to business/specific transactions.

• Perform with high accuracy under tight time constraints andcaneffectively interact with key financial personnel

• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills and commitment toa high levelof accuracy

• CPA required

• Knowledge of Workiva’sWDeskhighly desired

• Excellent writing and communication skills

• Experienceand knowledge ofNetSuite,advanced Excel skills, Bank of America/Merrill Lynch Benefits Online/Award Choice Financial Reporting

• Strong attention to detail,demonstratedintegrity and professionalism

• SOX and internal controls experience

• Theyshould have a strong work ethic and a fast moving “get it done” style and have a willingness to learn and be highly “hands-on”

• Ability to work weekends and extended work schedules as needed

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• On site in person 5 days a week at our El Segundo, CA HQ Office

**Annual salary commensurate with experience**

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $205,000 and $235,000. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for bonus and benefits.
