Job Description

This leadership role is responsible for driving the strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement of enterprise technology shared services within a complex technology environment. As organizations scale and their technology ecosystems evolve, this role focuses on ensuring shared services are seamless, proactive, and aligned with broader institutional or organizational objectives.

The position emphasizes shifting from traditional system management toward enabling scale, impact, and efficiency through modern service delivery models, including the integration of emerging technologies such as agentic AI and digital labor. The leader will guide the evolution of shared services into a more immersive, technology-enabled operating model that enhances service delivery and supports stakeholders across the organization.

This role requires a strategic, data-driven leader who can optimize shared services solutions, strengthen stakeholder partnerships, and build high-performing teams focused on operational excellence, execution, and measurable outcomes.

Compensation $165,000 - 180,000 + extensive benefits package Hybrid 3 days onsite, potentially more in the first few months of the role
RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy & Service Delivery

  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for enterprise technology shared services aligned with broader organizational goals and priorities.

  • Evolve service delivery models to support scalability, efficiency, and improved stakeholder outcomes.

  • Integrate emerging technologies, including agentic AI and digital labor, into service delivery models to enhance operational capabilities.

  • Drive the strategic direction of a portfolio of enterprise software platforms and technology tools, including planning, optimization, risk management, and cost control.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Provide leadership and coaching to teams responsible for delivering and supporting enterprise technology services such as collaboration tools, communication platforms, accessibility services, service management, web services, and engineering functions.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, empowerment, accountability, continuous improvement, and continuous learning.

  • Build and lead high-performing teams focused on service excellence and operational impact.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with executive leaders, technology teams, and organizational stakeholders.

  • Act as a trusted partner in shaping and delivering technology services that support enterprise priorities.

  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with stakeholder needs.

Operational Excellence

  • Implement industry-proven methodologies and best practices for service ownership and service delivery.

  • Establish and track performance metrics to monitor service effectiveness, identify improvement opportunities, and support data-driven decision-making.

  • Navigate complex and matrixed environments while effectively prioritizing initiatives and managing competing demands.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Extensive leadership experience within technology organizations, with a strong focus on service delivery, operations, and enterprise technology platforms.

  • Significant experience building, implementing, and managing technology solutions and service delivery frameworks.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated experience navigating complex organizational environments and leading initiatives from concept through execution and implementation.

  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, including experience managing technology portfolios, budgets, and risk.

  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to engage directly with teams and initiatives when needed to drive outcomes.

  • Growth mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and evolving service delivery models.

  • Ability to proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate risks.

  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive and psychologically safe environment where teams can perform and thrive.
