Organization:

SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-ValleyOversees Emergency Management, Environmental Health and Safety for the a large healthcare system

Develops a defensible, sustainable, and scalable Integrated Resiliency Program framework and strategy. Provides programmatic oversight of strategic and operational resiliency initiatives related to business continuity, emergency management, and the environment of care and assures integration with Disaster recovery. Directs and leads the team to design, deploy, execute and review operational resiliency processes. Processes include but not limited to: risk assessments, business impact analyses, emergency communication systems, drills and exercises, training and education, regulatory and accreditation requirements, disaster response and recovery and overall program maintenance. Leads the long-term strategic, operational and planning process, and the development of metrics to ensure that applicable enterprise strategies cascade through all operating units to facilitate integration across Sutter Health. Ensures business continuity, emergency management and environment of care programs are aligned to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

  • Bachelor's: Emergency Management, Disaster Management, Environmental Health and Safety, or Public Safety or equivalent education/experience


CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

  • CPHRM-Certified Professional Healthcare Risk Management


TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

  • 15 years of recent relevant experience.


SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Mastery of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint tools.

  • Ability to provide constructive feedback to team members to support continuous improvement.

  • Ability to foster, drive and maintain team member engagement.

  • Ability to effectively detect, surface and resolve conflicts among individuals and/or work groups.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, to include integration of new ideas, new services and clients.

  • Ability to understand and adjust to changing priorities, circumstances, direction, and a variety of personal styles.

  • Ability to recognize and research a problem, and to identify its component parts, causes and cost impact.

  • Ability to identify concerns before they become problems, and to propose solutions to the concerns.

  • Knowledge of Healthcare industry and geographically dispersed organizations would be beneficial.

Pay Range is $215,113.60 to $344,177.60 / annual salary

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
