The Senior Director, Digital Medical Strategy & Orchestration will define and operationalize the strategic engagement model that connects medical priorities, audience intelligence, content, channels, data, and compliant technology into a coordinated and measurable engagement ecosystem. This leader will establish the frameworks, governance, capabilities, and partnerships required to enable precision scientific engagement at scale—ensuring healthcare professionals receive the right information, through the right experience, at the right moment.
As a key architect of Pfizer's future digital medical engagement capabilities, this role will help shape how Medical Affairs leverages AI-enabled orchestration, advanced analytics, and emerging engagement channels to drive greater relevance, efficiency, and medical impact while upholding the highest standards of scientific integrity, compliance, and patient-centered purpose.
The Senior Director, Digital Medical Strategy & Orchestration is accountable for defining, enabling, and continuously evolving the US Medical Affairs digital engagement strategy and orchestration model across Oncology, Internal Medicine, Specialty Care, and Vaccines & Antivirals. Reporting to the Medical Channel Strategy and Engagement Lead, this leader will establish the strategic frameworks, governance, capabilities, and partnerships that connect medical priorities, audience intelligence, content, digital channels, data, and compliant technology into a coordinated, measurable, and scalable digital engagement ecosystem. In close partnership with the Chief Marketing Office and other enterprise engagement stakeholders, the role will ensure Medical Affairs digital engagement strategies are complementary to broader customer engagement efforts while maintaining clear scientific, regulatory, and compliance standards.
As healthcare professionals increasingly discover and consume scientific information through digital, search, social, and AI-enabled experiences, this role will serve as a key architect of Pfizer's future digital medical engagement capabilities. The leader will drive the transition from channel-centric execution to intelligent, audience-centric orchestration—ensuring healthcare professionals receive the right scientific content, through the right digital engagement experience, at the right moment. Through the design of orchestration frameworks, governance models, decisioning capabilities, and performance measurement approaches, this role will help establish the foundation for precision digital scientific engagement at scale.
This is a senior individual-contributor leadership role requiring enterprise influence, executive-level judgment, and the ability to mobilize stakeholders across Medical Affairs, the Chief Medical Office, the Chief Marketing Office, Digital, Analytics, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Regulatory, agency, and third-party platform partners. The role is expected to shape enterprise priorities related to engagement strategy, orchestration, governance, measurement, innovation, and emerging AI-enabled capabilities while safeguarding Pfizer's license to operate and driving greater medical impact across the US portfolio

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $214,900.00 to $358,100.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
