Job Purpose and Impact

The Senior Director, China SMT Lead will provide strategic leadership for the Strategic Marketing and Technology function in ANH China. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of market strategies, portfolio priorities, innovation pipelines and technology agendas to deliver business growth, customer value and stronger market competitiveness. You will collaborate with business leaders, commercial teams, technology teams and global SMT partners to align priorities, enable execution and build organizational capability.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the development and execution of ANH China market strategies, including segmentation, growth priorities, value propositions and required capabilities.
  • Partner with business leadership to align strategic priorities, portfolio choices, go-to-market plans, channel strategies and pricing execution.
  • Develop and manage product, service and solution portfolios and innovation pipelines that support customer needs, growth objectives and financial performance.
  • Translate market and customer insights into technology priorities, resource allocation decisions and research and development focus areas.
  • Develop business cases and annual plans for new products, services and solutions, and monitor progress against growth, EBIDA and annual operating plan targets.
  • Lead, coach and develop the SMT team, building strong collaboration, inclusive leadership, talent pipelines and effective ways of working.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, animal nutrition, science, technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of relevant experience in strategic marketing, business strategy, portfolio management, product line management or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience developing market strategies, go-to-market plans, customer segmentation and innovation or portfolio priorities.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to connect market insights, customer needs and financial outcomes.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and collaborate across commercial, technology, finance and operations teams.
  • Confirmed people leadership skills, including the ability to build inclusive, collaborative and high-performing teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with global strategy frameworks, annual operating planning, value proposition development and portfolio governance.
  • Experience leading innovation pipelines, new product, service and solution development, and cross-functional launch execution.
  • Knowledge of ANH markets, customer segments, competitive dynamics and industry trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong networks and collaborate effectively across local, regional and global teams.
