
Customer Security & Trust (CST) is Microsoft’s multidisciplinary organization responsible for protecting customers, defending against cybercrime and nation-state threats, advancing cybersecurity policy and regulatory compliance, and strengthening trust in the digital ecosystem. CST brings together cybersecurity policy and diplomacy, legal and regulatory expertise, threat intelligence, investigations, engineering, and national security operations to help make the digital ecosystem safer, more secure, and more trusted.
The Senior Director, Chief of Staff for Customer Security & Trust (CST) is an executive leader and trusted advisor to the VP, accountable for strategic leadership, executive effectiveness, and people management across a complex, global organization. Operating with broad autonomy and enterprise scope, this role shapes CST’s strategic agenda, ensures disciplined execution, and leads a high-performing team that enables the VP and CST leadership to operate at scale. A core emphasis of this role is external engagement strategy and preparation, alongside ownership of CST-wide planning, operating rhythm, and leadership alignment.

Required/minimum qualifications
Business Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900.00 - $277,200.00 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600.00 - $303,600.00 per year.
