Job Description

We are working closely with a local authority in Carmarthenshire to assist with the appointment of a Senior Digital Systems Officer, on a 2- months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay £19.29- £25.48 per hour



The Senior Digital Systems Officer is responsible for leading and managing business-critical and operational digital systems that support the effective running of the department and delivery of services. The role leads on the implementation, maintenance, development and continuous improvement of core systems, digital applications and technology solutions. This includes supporting major system upgrades, critical end-of-year processes, statutory and regulatory compliance, digital transformation projects and other prioritised work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the department's business-critical and operational digital systems.
  • Ensure systems operate effectively and meet current and future business requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and support for the development, maintenance and improvement of digital systems.
  • Ensure robust and resilient delivery of business-critical applications and systems.

Qualifications:

  • IT-related degree or significant equivalent experience within an IT environment.
  • Proven experience in an IT Systems role.

Essentials:

  • Proven experience of working in an ICT applications support or software development environment.
  • Experience of supporting and developing software applications.
  • Experience of managing or contributing to digital systems projects.

  • You should have right to work in U.K
