Core Responsibilities
Lead the digital marketing agenda, providing strategic input for campaign development, and leading digital-first projects, that drive significant engagement across priority India & Emerging Asia markets. More specifically, you will:
Drive Active Consumer Base by establishing LEGO play value proposition and driving desire amongst consumers and shoppers
Lead & influence a deep integration of the Digital agenda in marketing plans and activities by using the OESP (Owned, Earned, Shared, Paid) communication model to improve brand awareness and engagement
Create highly effective and sufficient media campaigns by using media expertise, local digital trends, and discussions with media agency of record (Publicis)
Help enhance LEGO brand presence on owned digital platforms (LEGO.com, YouTube, Instagram, SEM)
Manage the LEGO Group's social media account and content calendar in India and drive meaningfulness by creating content for local occasions and topical moments
Provide guidance to retail partners in the development of impactful digital marketing campaigns linked to the aligned brand activation calendar and key insights
Collaborate strongly with multiple partners including internal Marketing sub-teams, Sales teams, and central Marketing teams at the LEGO group
Learn by tracking and analyzing digital marketing performance versus plan via After Action Reviews, benchmarking executions from other business units & other brands
Lead relationships with external agency partners
This role is reporting to the BU Head of Marketing, sits in India & Emerging Asia business unit (IEA BU), covering 5 key markets across the region. India is a key focus market and this is where majority of this role will be focused.
Minimum 10 years' experience in branding and digital marketing, preferably in branded goods industry in categories such as: Fashion/ Novelty Retail, Luxury, FMCG, Sports, Snacks/Beverages
Strong strategic, digital and integrated end to end thinking – ability of translating global/regional strategy into local priorities for Digital Marketing with a commercial approach
Drive for results – championing effectiveness and data centricity, bravery to test hypothesis, live a constantly learning mentality, strong analytical and evaluation skills and ability to turn findings into action
Future thinking – be aware of trends and bring outside in perspective, translating them into test & learn pilots with local partners
Strong collaborator and able to work across various internal functions and external partners, in particular with sales teams
Strong ownership & Can-do attitude
Excellent communication and presentation skills with analytical mind
Strong project management skills
