Position Highlights:

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Digital Experience Specialist to enhance and optimise our digital platforms across web, mobile, and integrated systems. You will work closely with the Assistant IT Manager, focusing on backend development, technical implementation, and SEO strategies to deliver seamless, high-performing digital experiences for our users. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with a passion for digital innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimise backend systems for websites and digital applications;
• Implement APIs and third-party integrations to improve platform functionality and user experience;
• Ensure data security, integrity, and scalability of digital solutions;
• Identify and resolve technical issues affecting website and application performance, including speed, responsiveness, and accessibility;
• Support deployment, testing, and troubleshooting of new features and updates;
• Develop and execute advanced SEO strategies (on-page, off-page, technical SEO) to maximise organic visibility and search rankings;
• Utilise analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.) to monitor and report on digital performance; provide actionable insights for continuous improvement;
• Stay updated with the latest digital trends, SEO updates, and emerging technologies; and
• Take up other IT projects and assignments as assigned.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or related disciplines;
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in website development, website engineering (including SEO and CDN), and behavioral analytics (using Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics);
• Proven experience as a digital experience technical lead with a strong knowledge of SEO best practices and web performance optimisation;
• Working knowledge of a content management system (e.g. Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, Joomla, Drupal) with the ability to customise it through making programmatic changes would be advantageous;
• Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Java, and SQL;
• Experience with DNS and version control systems (e.g., Git) configuration;
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues and translate business requirements into technical solutions;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage; and
• A proactive approach to learning and staying abreast of industry trends.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

The initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to performance review and mutual agreement.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
