About the team

You’ll be part of the Design Services team within Marketing, working closely with Design, Marketing, eCommerce, Brand, Trading and Digital teams. The team delivers high-quality creative and digital solutions across multiple brands and channels, with a strong focus on consistency, quality and efficient production. As a senior member of the team, you’ll help strengthen digital capability, improve ways of working and support other designers through technical guidance and mentoring.

About the role

As a Senior Digital Designer, you’ll lead the hands-on delivery of complex, high-volume and high-priority digital campaigns across EDM, web, social media, display and other online channels. You’ll take ownership of production quality, provide technical guidance to designers and act as an escalation point for complex digital production issues. You’ll also help improve templates, design systems and workflows while partnering with key stakeholders to deliver high-quality, accessible and brand-aligned digital experiences.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead complex digital campaigns across EDM, web, social, display and online channels.
  • Translate creative concepts into scalable digital assets, templates, components and channel-ready executions.
  • Own digital production standards, quality assurance, accessibility and brand consistency.
  • Lead Mailchimp EDM production, including templates, responsive layouts, links, tracking and pre-send checks.
  • Develop and improve digital templates, design systems, components and shared asset libraries.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to digital designers and act as an escalation point for complex production issues.
  • Manage Workfront workflows, briefs, approvals, deadlines and handovers.
  • Partner with Design, Marketing, eCommerce, Brand, Trading and developers to resolve production requirements and continuously improve digital processes.

Who are we looking for?

  • 6+ years’ experience in digital design, digital production or a related field, with a relevant design qualification desirable.
  • Advanced digital production skills across EDM, web, social, display and online channels.
  • Advanced Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma and Mailchimp skills, including experience with design systems and EDM production.
  • Strong knowledge of responsive design, accessibility, asset optimisation and HTML/CSS, with the ability to troubleshoot production issues.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality assurance, organisation and ability to manage complex, high-volume workloads.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to provide technical guidance and mentor other designers.
  • Retail, eCommerce, high-volume in-house or multi-brand experience will be highly regarded.
  • Experience with Workfront, CMS, digital asset management platforms, developers or front-end teams will be advantageous.
  • Proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused, with strong ownership, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
