Why We Need You:

The Senior Digital Channel Sales Manager is a strategic enterprise leader responsible for defining, advancing, and scaling PEMCO’s digital ecommerce vision across the company. This role owns the digital prospective customer journey from awareness and quote initiation through purchase, channel handoff, and post-bind learning, ensuring digital capabilities accelerate profitable growth, improve customer acquisition, and strengthen PEMCO’s competitive position. The Manager leads cross-functional alignment across Sales, Marketing, Product, Underwriting, IT, Data & Analytics, Customer Experience, and Operations to prioritize digital investments, remove friction from the online quote and purchase experience, and establish a cohesive omnichannel commerce strategy. The position is accountable for translating customer insights, funnel analytics, market trends, and business priorities into a clear roadmap that drives measurable quote-to-bind improvement, revenue growth, and long-term enterprise value.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Define and lead PEMCO’s enterprise digital commerce strategy, aligning digital sales, customer acquisition, and omnichannel experience priorities with company growth objectives.
  • Establish the long-term digital commerce vision, investment priorities, and success measures for the online quote and purchase experience.
  • Serve as the business owner for digital commerce outcomes, ensuring strategy connects to profitable policy growth, customer acquisition efficiency, and enterprise value creation.
  • Own the end-to-end prospective customer digital journey, from discovery and quote initiation through purchase, channel transition, and conversion learning.
  • Champion a seamless omnichannel experience across digital, direct sales, and service touchpoints.
  • Identify and remove friction points that prevent customers from completing quotes, binding policies, or moving smoothly between channels.
  • Lead the business roadmap for PEMCO’s online quote and purchase platform, prioritizing capabilities that improve usability, conversion, personalization, speed, and customer confidence.
  • Partner with IT, Product, UX, Marketing, Underwriting, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to align requirements, sequence enhancements, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Evaluate emerging digital commerce capabilities, including personalization, guided selling, marketing automation, AI-enabled journey and insights, and integrated handoff experiences.
  • Establish and manage digital commerce KPIs, including quote starts, completion rates, quote-to-bind conversion, abandonment, customer acquisition cost, policy growth, and channel handoff outcomes.
  • Use funnel analytics, customer behavior data, voice-of-customer insights, and test-and-learn practices to continuously improve digital performance.
  • Partner with Marketing to connect acquisition strategy, paid media, SEO, geographic targeting, content, and campaign performance to digital sales outcomes.
  • Lead through influence across business and technology teams to drive alignment, clarity, prioritization, and execution of digital commerce initiatives.
  • Develop executive-ready recommendations, business cases, performance updates, and roadmap trade-off decisions.
  • Represent digital commerce strategy in enterprise planning forums and ensure digital priorities are integrated into broader distribution, customer experience, and growth strategies.
  • Ensure digital commerce processes comply with insurance regulations, company standards, privacy requirements, and security protocols.
  • Partner with Compliance, Legal, Underwriting, and Operations to balance customer experience improvements with risk management, accuracy, and policy integrity.

What You'll Bring:

  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives that connect business strategy, technology delivery, customer experience, and measurable revenue or growth outcomes.
  • Experience owning or influencing digital product roadmaps, conversion optimization, funnel analytics, ecommerce platforms, and executive-level performance reporting.
