We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Digital Assets Product Manager, Securities Services

You’ll own end-to-end product management for Securities Services digital assets capabilities, with a focus on tokenised securities and funds and institutional digital asset custody. This includes shaping proposition and roadmap, driving discovery and delivery, managing partners, and ensuring solutions meet regulatory expectations and strong risk and control standards.

In this role you will:

• Represent HSBC with regulators, industry bodies and strategic partners, staying close to market developments and translating insights into product actions.
• Define and drive product strategy and roadmap for tokenised securities/funds servicing and digital asset custody, aligned to client needs and business priorities.
• Lead structured discovery for new/ambiguous initiatives (e.g., pilots/PoCs), including scope, assumptions, dependencies, risks and success metrics.
• Identify, evaluate and manage partner/vendor opportunities, supporting selection criteria, governance cadence and delivery oversight.
• Convert product strategy into clear delivery scope (features, milestones, releases) and outcomes, working closely with technology and programme teams.
• Define and secure sign-off for business requirements across onboarding, servicing, lifecycle processing, reporting and integration with platforms/market infrastructure.
• Drive operational readiness and target operating model change (process, controls, roles, training, BAU handover) to ensure scalable adoption.
• Ensure solutions meet regulatory, compliance and risk expectations, including appropriate testing/acceptance criteria and go-to-market measurement.

To be successful you will need:

• Proven experience in product management and/or complex delivery within securities services, custody, fund administration, fund middle office, or related institutional markets.
• Strong understanding of securities servicing operating models and market infrastructure; ability to assess operating, control and scalability impacts.
• Experience delivering products using Agile/iterative approaches, with solid capability in requirements, roadmap management, and SIT/UAT readiness.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and work cross-functionally with Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Legal.
• Experience managing third-party/vendor relationships, including evaluation, governance and performance oversight.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent); change/project qualification is advantageous; strong English communication and analytical decision-making skills.
