You’ll partner with CX product teams across the Online shopping space – primarily focused on delivering improvements to the core digital experiences which are consistent across all shopping methods, with potential for some specific support of some of our newer propositions in Online, such as Clothing and Tesco Marketplace. You could be working on analytics of the digital experience of what customers should see entering our site or app, improving search and browse experiences to help customers find the right products, or even enabling customers to pay through the most effortless and simple methods which work for them.
Whilst specific responsibilities will be dependent upon the changing needs of the Tesco business, the following provides an overview of the role’s key responsibilities:
• Form and nurture relationships with your key stakeholders: Product Managers. Work confidently with stakeholders from across multiple disciplines (e.g. UX, Data Product, business teams, Engineering) to optimise products together and recommend opportunities.
• Have a thorough understanding of the product vision and roadmaps
• Demonstrate strong data-based decision-making, articulating this in an environment of trade-offs and competing priorities, when fast decision-making is required.
• Define product and top level objectives & key results, set and monitor targets.
• Define measurement frameworks with stakeholder alignment. Design analytics tracking for products; improve data quality and coverage with engineering and product teams.
• Identify unstructured problems and articulate opportunities for analysis and insight.
• Execute end-to-end analysis: gather and shape analytics requirements; define success metrics, define and validate hypotheses and assumptions, identify and validate sources of data, analyse customer behaviour, deliver insights and recommend opportunities to grow and improve the product.
• Formulate and communicate results using high quality textual, numeric, and graphical methods appropriate to the target audience.
• Coach and/or manage junior colleagues in your team.
• Follow our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence.
