South East Queensland Hauliers is a full-service wharf logistics provider based in Brisbane. Founded in the 1960's, SEQH have grown to become one of the largest import/export wharf carriers whilst still remaining a family owned and operated business.
SEQH operates from company-owned sites in Hemmant and Toowoomba, both currently undergoing major upgrades. Most excitingly, our brand-new purpose-built facility at the Port of Brisbane has now opened!

Main Job Details

• Location: Wellcamp, Toowoomba QLD 4350
• Roster: Monday – Friday, occasional weekend work
• Plenty of overtime, averaging 50 hr. weeks
• Pay Rate: $50-57/hr. + Overtime + Superannuation

Key Requirements

• Certificate III in Heavy Diesel Mechanics or similar
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in heavy vehicle maintenance
• HC/MC License or willingness to obtain one, is an advantage
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of diesel engine systems
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, transmissions, and other heavy vehicle components
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid checks
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues or malfunctions
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all work is performed to industry standards
