Product Delivery provides strategic guidance to the De Beers – Midstream business and sets the standards for the Partner Diamond Trading Company’s functions to ensure best in class operations that are continuously improving and ensures the sustainable delivery of the product that is suitable for the customers.
The Aggregation, Sight Management department’s main deliverable is to produce consistent and accurate diamond administration that is completed on schedule to agreed standards, from arrival through to export which is paramount to maintaining customer confidence and good relations.
The department operates to a rigorous planning schedule combined with various confirmation and quality assurance procedures to ensure that deadlines and quality targets are met. As part of this process, staff is required to display a multi-skilled and flexible work ethic, supporting all processes throughout the DBGSS pipeline.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
The role is responsible to finalise the signing off on all DBGSS’s selling assortments in terms of product integrity and value. Thus ensuring a creditable product is delivered to DBGSS’s customers, the brand is protected and diamond revenue. Is maintained.
Education required:
Undergraduate qualification (Bachelor’s/Honours Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) in a relevant technical discipline. e.g. Business/Operations Management or Proven track record of extensive practical experience in rough diamond sorting, evaluation, buying and selling.
