Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Our Client is a prominent, innovation-driven financial institution on a mission to revolutionize the banking sector through cutting-edge AI, MLOps, and Data solutions. They replace traditional financial infrastructure with modern, Cloud-Native platforms, wrapping critical machine learning services, scalable architecture, and strict security into a highly reliable ecosystem.

About the Role

As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you will take on a technical leadership position. You will guide and grow the Cloud DevSecOps/SRE team, ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of the platform that hosts the Bank’s critical AI and Machine Learning services.

• Location: Hybrid (1 day a week in the Warsaw office)

• Contract Type: B2B Contract (12+ months, signed directly with the outsourcing company)

What You Will Do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a Cloud DevSecOps/SRE team focused on cloud applications (AI, MLOps, Data).

• Build, standardize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps processes (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).

• Develop and manage Kubernetes environments (Anthos, OCP, Istio, Helm).

• Expand the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) platform for rapid, repeatable cloud provisioning (Terraform).

• Ensure strict security, data access, and compliance (IAM, networking, secrets, auditability) in a regulated environment.

• Guarantee the reliability and scalability of the platform running critical ML/LLM services for the Bank.

• Recommend and implement modern technologies (Observability, FinOps, AI platform enhancements).

• Collaborate closely with developers and architects to understand their needs and improve engineering processes.

What We Expect

• Proven experience as a Technical Leader in Cloud / DevSecOps / Platform Engineering or SRE.

• Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes (architecture, networking, autoscaling, security) and Cloud-Native platforms.

• Hands-on expertise with CI/CD and GitOps (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).

• Strong proficiency in Linux and Cloud environments (GCP is highly preferred).

• Solid understanding of observability principles and tools.

• Experience in maintaining ML/LLM models in production (availability, latency, rollbacks, versioning).

• Deep understanding of security, IAM, networking, and compliance within regulated organizations.

• A strategic mindset capable of designing long-term architecture rather than just reacting to operational issues.
