Position: Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: Lisbon or Oporto / Hybrid
Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes to design, administer, automate, and optimize containerized environments. The role involves managing CI/CD and GitOps pipelines, implementing Infrastructure as Code, supporting development teams with application onboarding, and ensuring platform performance, observability, and security through DevSecOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, administer, and optimize Red Hat OpenShift clusters across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Tekton, and ArgoCD.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
- Support development teams with application onboarding and promote Cloud-Native best practices.
- Implement and optimize monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
- Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines, including vulnerability scanning, secrets management, RBAC, and network policies.
- Troubleshoot platform and infrastructure issues and ensure high availability and performance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and evaluate new technologies and architectures.
- Promote knowledge sharing and mentor less experienced team members.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in DevOps, with strong experience in containerized environments.
- Advanced knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes, including administration, security, operators, and routing.
- Strong experience with Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience with ArgoCD, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD and GitOps tools.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, and IT security.
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
- Knowledge of microservices architectures is valued.
- Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes certifications such as EX280, EX288, CKA, or CKAD are a plus.
- Fluent/native French is required.
- Strong communication, autonomy, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
- Comfortable working in an Agile and collaborative environment.
