Job Description

Hiring Position: Senior DevOps Engineer (Open to any Nationalities)

Working Location: Bangkok, Thailand (BTS and MRT Accessible)

Working Condition:

  • Hybrid working mode with 2 days' work from home per week with flexible working hours
  • Additional 10 days of work from anywhere per year

Pay Rate: THB 100K to THB 140K

ABOUT THE POSITION:

Mission:

Join our client's Middleware & Data team within the Technologies & Operations Department to modernize applications in a multicultural company:

  • Implement Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
  • Migrate legacy applications to Openshift Platform using Ansible pipelines
  • Improve Time-To-Market and Operations efficiency
  • Execute strategic modernization and resilience projects
  • Coordinate and communicate operations with stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot issues and prevent incidents

Main Responsibilities:

Automation using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP):

  • Migrate existing Ansible playbooks to the new AAP instance
  • Develop Ansible playbooks and scripts in modern languages
  • Maintain CI/CD automation pipelines
  • Implement pipelines for traditional and containerized applications
  • Automate manual processes using 3rd party APIs
  • Promote best practices and train teams in CI/CD concepts

Support & Maintenance:

  • Provide level 2 support for automation platforms
  • Manage automation-related incidents and problems
  • Maintain up-to-date automation platforms

Requirements:

  • Problem-solving attitude, reactivity, proactivity, and discipline
  • Strong team spirit and good communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • On-call standby required (night/weekends)
  • Understanding of application interactions in a distributed architecture
  • Strong Ansible playbooks & AAP/Tower skills
  • Ability to modify existing Jenkins pipelines
  • Experience with Linux (Red Hat) and Openshift Platform API usage

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position

Language Skills: Must be fluent in English
