About the Organisation
We are a technology centre in Bucharest, Romania, delivering global technology products and services for a leading international financial institution. We have a robust, hands-on engineering culture dedicated to continuous learning, knowledge-sharing, and technical skill development.
We are looking for motivated candidates to join our team, working on building automated CI/CD pipelines, supporting migration of applications from on-prem to Google Cloud, and delivering concepts for policy-as-code in GCP.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-availability infrastructure on GCP.
- Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Develop and maintain scripts for infrastructure automation, monitoring, and deployments.
- Implement and enforce security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Understand the SDLC process and controls (policies).
- Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines to satisfy SDLC controls.
- Support teams to onboard to Google Cloud and GitHub.
- Support teams to configure and implement pipelines.
- Document knowledge base articles and other materials as required.
Technical Skills
- Terraform — mandatory.
- Google Cloud Platform (preferred), AWS, or Azure.
- Enterprise security management solutions including GCP Secret Manager.
- CI/CD tools experience; GitHub Actions a plus.
- Docker and Kubernetes (images, deployments, Dockerfiles).
- Helm Charts (templates, hooks, packaging). Monitoring tools: GCO, New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana.
- Service-mesh technology such as Istio or similar.
- Scripting in at least one language: Java, JavaScript, Python, Go, or Bash.
- English mandatory, German a plus.
