About the Role

As a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer at CodeRoad, you will serve as the technical backbone of our cloud infrastructure and deployment strategies. You will anchor the architecture, management, and continuous optimization of enterprise Microsoft Azure environments while implementing robust CI/CD pipelines. In this role, you will bridge the gap between software development PODs and cloud operations, ensuring that client applications remain highly available, resilient, and securely deployed.

This role is critical to modernizing cloud-native infrastructure, eliminating deployment bottlenecks, and driving engineering speed with confidence. By taking complete ownership of automated provisioning, environment monitoring, security compliance, and pipeline management, your work will directly impact the performance, scalability, and operational excellence of our clients' core software products.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and manage scalable, secure Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure tailored for high-availability enterprise environments.
• Build and optimize automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (Azure Pipelines) to streamline application builds and deployments.
• Own Infrastructure as Code (IaC) provisioning using tools like Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform to maintain reproducible cloud environments.
• Implement continuous monitoring and observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Enforce DevSecOps practices by integrating automated security scans, secrets management (Azure Key Vault), and policy enforcement into release cycles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to troubleshoot build failures, optimize resource allocation, and elevate pipeline efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in dedicated DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles.
• Strong expertise in designing and maintaining Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystems.
• Mastery of Azure DevOps / Azure Pipelines for automated continuous integration and delivery.
• Deep experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep, ARM, or Terraform.
• Proficiency in PowerShell or Azure CLI for system automation and cloud orchestration.
• Solid understanding of Azure identity, access controls (RBAC), and cloud security protocols.
• Soft Skills: Extreme ownership mindset, strong troubleshooting instincts, and proactive cross-team collaboration.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken, C1+ equivalent required for daily client collaboration).

Nice to Have

• Experience managing containerized applications using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Experience configuring Azure Messaging and NoSQL services (e.g., Azure Service Bus, Cosmos DB).
• Hands-on familiarity with hybrid environments, IIS web server management, or PowerShell-based Windows administration.
• Active Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Administrator Associate).
