Position Title: DevOps Engineer

What you will be doing:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with deep, hands-on expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code. This is a senior individual contributor role responsible for designing, provisioning, automating, and maintaining cloud infrastructure that powers modern, scalable applications.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience building production environments using AWS CDK and possesses strong software engineering skills in TypeScript or Python. This role requires someone who understands AWS beyond basic administration and can architect secure, scalable, and automated cloud solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or similar roles.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in production environments.

• Strong experience provisioning infrastructure using AWS CDK.

• Strong programming skills in TypeScript (preferred) or Python.

• Deep experience with:

• Amazon ECS

• Amazon ECR

• AWS Lambda

• AWS IAM

• AWS Networking (VPC, Security Groups, Route Tables, Load Balancers, etc.)

• Amazon EC2 (working knowledge and administration)

• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles.

• Experience designing secure cloud environments using IAM best practices.

• Experience implementing deployment strategies including:

• Blue-Green Deployments

• Canary Deployments

• Strong understanding of containerized workloads and cloud-native architectures.

• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with HCL and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu.

• Experience with AWS cost optimization and cloud governance.

• Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and logging platforms.

• Experience implementing cloud security best practices and compliance standards.

• Familiarity with DevSecOps methodologies.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects

• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate, diagram and document complex engineering concepts.
