We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a distributed team of specialist and senior engineers spanning multiple locations globally. In this role, you will be a hands-on technical contributor and force multiplier — working alongside specialist engineers to raise the collective bar through knowledge sharing, unblocking, and collaborative problem-solving. You will bring deep expertise in Azure-based Kubernetes platforms and a breadth of DevOps practice to help deliver and evolve our infrastructure at scale.
Kubernetes & Container Platform
Design, deploy, and operate Kubernetes workloads on Redhat OpenShift and AKS in production and test environments, with consideration for future AWS expansion.
Define cluster topology, multi-tenancy models, RBAC policies, namespace strategy, and workload placement standards.
Implement and contribute to GitOps workflows using ArgoCD; manage the broader Kubernetes tooling ecosystem including Helm, Kustomize, ingress controllers, and service mesh.
Maintain container image standards including base image governance, vulnerability scanning, and registry hygiene.
CI/CD, IaC, & Cloud Platform
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that enable fast, reliable delivery; introduce progressive delivery patterns where appropriate.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform; contribute to shared module libraries and uphold consistent standards across environments.
Contribute to cloud architecture decisions on Azure (VNet design, IAM, private connectivity, cost optimization) with an eye toward multi-cloud extensibility.
Observability, Reliability, & Security
Work within the observability stack (metrics, logging, tracing, alerting) to ensure consistent coverage and actionable signal across platform components.
Drive SLO/SLI practices, lead blameless post-mortems, and systematically reduce classes of production incidents.
Enforce security by default including secrets management, policy enforcement (OPA/Gatekeeper or Kyverno), network policies, and compliance posture.
Technical Leadership & Enablement
Act as a technical resource and mentor for engineers on your team, sharing knowledge, reviewing work, and removing blockers to keep delivery moving.
Produce and maintain clear documentation, architecture decision records (ADRs), and runbooks to support team-wide understanding.
Participate in architecture reviews and roadmap planning, ensuring platform concerns are well represented in cross-functional decisions.
