abra is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer!

We are seeking a hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer to take full ownership of our Azure cloud infrastructure operations, production stability, and security. In this role, you will focus on operating, hardening, and troubleshooting complex production environments based on Microsoft Azure and AKS, ensuring high availability, robust monitoring, and operational readiness across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain high-scale Azure and AKS (Kubernetes) services in production environments.
• Take E2E ownership of production stability, observability, and root-cause analysis for complex incidents.
• Manage cloud infrastructure security, including identities, access control, Key Vault, and certificates.
• Support hybrid environments combining Azure cloud services with on-prem systems.
• Define and maintain operational models, runbooks, and production readiness standards.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of proven, hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer in production-heavy environments.
• Azure Expertise: Deep, practical knowledge of operating and troubleshooting Azure cloud services (Compute, Storage, Identity).
• Kubernetes: Strong hands-on experience with AKS / Kubernetes (complex troubleshooting, configuration, networking, secrets).
• Infrastructure as Code: Solid experience with Terraform for cloud provisioning.
• Observability: Strong background with enterprise monitoring tools, specifically Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, alerting mechanisms, and custom dashboards.
• Networking & Security: Deep understanding of networking and security fundamentals: DNS, TLS, proxies, firewalls, private networks, and managed identities.
• Mindset: Production-first mindset with a proven ability to perform complex root-cause analysis and troubleshooting under pressure.

Advantages:

• Experience with Azure API Management, App Service, Azure SQL, or Sentinel.
• Experience with observability platforms: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK
• Experience with Entra ID, IAM, SSO, SAML, or OIDC.
• Knowledge of FinOps, cloud cost optimization, or reliability metrics.
• Experience with OpenShift or Tanzu.
