The enterprises we serve are navigating the most complex digital transformation challenges they have ever faced. As our Senior DevOps Engineer, you will own a critical part of that foundation.
This is not a steady-state role. Ardoq is scaling fast, and the systems you work with are growing in complexity alongside us. You will be the kind of engineer who sees a brittle deployment pipeline and feels compelled to fix it properly, not just patch it. The same goes for the infrastructure underneath it — you are comfortable going deep, whether that means a shell on a node, a packet capture, or an incident that requires actual understanding rather than a restart. You will pay down technical debt with the same conviction you bring to building new capabilities, and you will leave the system meaningfully healthier than you found it.

Design, implement, and improve infrastructure and deployment systems across large, well-defined scopes — with a clear eye on reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
Investigate and resolve complex, multi-layered infrastructure problems that span multiple components and environments.
Lead architecture-level contributions to CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, observability, and security posture.
Proactively pay down high-complexity technical debt and design systems that prevent future issues from accumulating.
Collaborate across engineering, product, and security to align on requirements, evaluate solutions, and ensure cross-team technical coherence.
Share knowledge openly — mentoring engineers on DevOps practices, tooling, and system thinking.
Contribute to recruitment, onboarding, and process optimisation within the engineering team.
You’ll start by collaborating across disciplines to evaluate trade-offs for a new scalable feature. By midday, you might be performing system-level debugging on a multi-layered problem affecting core components. Your afternoon is spent building the intelligent automations that eliminate manual busywork for the whole team. You wrap up by providing direct, caring feedback in a code review, ensuring we balance speed with maintainable patterns.
We are looking for an engineer who brings deep technical capability, clear judgment, and a genuine drive to improve the systems they work with.
Advanced Software and Infrastructure Development: You design and implement reliable, scalable infrastructure across large system areas, and improve existing patterns to strengthen long-term maintainability and performance.
System-Level Debugging: You investigate and resolve complex, multi-layered problems affecting multiple components. You use deep system understanding to guide troubleshooting and prevent recurrence.
Architecture and Design Contribution: You evaluate and shape architectural decisions, identifying risks, trade-offs, and future implications — proposing solutions that support scalability, reliability, and performance at scale.
Technical Debt Reduction: You pay down high-complexity debt and design systems that avoid accumulating new issues. You lead technical clean-up efforts that strengthen long-term system health.
Collaboration and Cross-Team Knowledge: You work effectively across disciplines to align on requirements and solution design, and you understand how changes in your domain ripple across the product.
AI Fluency: You actively explore and adopt AI tools to improve the quality, efficiency, and reliability of your engineering work — and you can distinguish where AI adds genuine leverage from where it doesn't.
