Skill Sets:

  • Hands-on mentality.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration mindset and ability to work with an international team, primarily in the US and Germany.

Known Tools:

  • Must have good expertise in Version control and Continuous Integration tools like GIT, Bitbucket, Jenkins, etc.
  • Must have hands-on knowledge of implementation and troubleshooting Containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Manage and maintain the quality of code using tools like SonarQube.
    Must have good knowledge of Continuous Deployment tools like Jenkins or Azure pipeline, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Prior working experience on Cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
  • Python, Bash, Groovy scripting experience for writing CI/CD pipeline code and test cases.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts and hands-on Linux experience.
  • Familiar with Agile methodology and e-commerce platforms.

Expected Deliverables

  • We are looking for a suitable candidate for the Sr. DevOps Lead role.
    The candidate must have 5 years of hands-on practical technical experience in a DevOps role.
  • Must have implemented at least 3 end-to-end DevOps CI/CD projects.
    Identify, capture requirements, and implement enhancements and upgrades to our CI/CD.
  • DevOps Engineers should come from a development background and be able to read and analyze codes and services.
  • Strong experience in configuring services, alerts, and instrumentation on monitoring tools.
  • Automate our operational processes as needed, with accuracy and in compliance with our security requirements.
  • Should be able to handle and work on security operations-related tasks, such as taking security signoffs, supplying evidence, initiating technical risk assessments, and security assessments (PenTest), and taking ownership to understand and close security-related tasks on time.
  • Extensive experience in architecture planning and support.
    Strong in planning, reviewing, and implementing areas on Git/Jenkins/Nexus integration.
  • Analyze infrastructure requirements for test automation.
  • Review scripts to deploy and validate with the vendor suite of products in the payments area.
  • Closely monitor all ongoing threads and be proactive in SLA reporting to clients.
  • Coordinate with multiple teams (Infrastructure, DevOps, Product, and Technology) when needed to meet SLAs/Deliverables on time.
  • Define scope, design, and strategy in a clear and structured way that readily communicates architecture to stakeholders.
  • Ensure complete and up-to-date documentation of the architecture and its implementation.
  • Drive an accepted implementation of architecture through continued coaching, mentoring, and communication with engineering teams.
  • Work with the team to develop quick PoCs to evaluate new technologies, tools, solutions, etc.
