You will work closely with development teams across geographies to drive adoption of standardised CI/CD pipelines, observability tooling, and Kubernetes-based infrastructure thus reducing cognitive load for product teams and accelerating software delivery across the organisation.
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and components. Continuously improve pipeline reliability, speed, and security posture.
Operate and extend the organisation's observability stack.
Manage and maintain shared platform components such as reverse proxies, API gateways, and application servers (such as nginx) while ensuring availability, security, and timely upgrades across their full lifecycle.
Manage and evolve Kubernetes clusters, and contribute to infrastructure-as-code practices.
In close collaboration with team members and subject matter experts based in Belgium, act as a day-to-day point of contact for development teams adopting platform tooling.
10+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work effectively with globally distributed teams.
Solid hands-on experience with Jenkins and ArgoCD for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Working knowledge of Kubernetes, to the degree that you are comfortable with day-to-day cluster operations and troubleshooting.
Practical experience with GCP, and GKE in particular.
Familiarity with the ELK stack and/or Grafana.
Proficiency in at least one scripting (such as Groovy or Bash) or programming language.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling (Terraform and/or Ansible).
Experience with GitLab CI.
Knowledge of data streaming platforms such as Kafka.
Experience with secrets management tooling, such as Vault or Akeyless.
Hands-on experience managing nginx instances.
Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL and MariaDB.
Experience with Ansible Automation Platform.
