Stillfront’s IT Hub is a multi-disciplinary department, paving the road for the rest of the group by providing technological solutions and engineering guidance. Now, we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer (all genders) with experience working with a heavily distributed and senior engineering group to join our IT Hub to support DevOps and engineering projects across the group.
Lead the design and implementation of DevOps across IT Hub projects
Lead by example best practices to team and game studios/franchises
Contribute to player delight by reducing complexity and technical debt
Identify and action opportunities to reduce cost
Coordinate and collaborate with a talented network of engineers at each studio/franchise
Be inquisitive about current DevOps strategies and eager to evaluate alternatives
Using LLM/AI tooling to gain efficiency while improving quality
5+ years of professional experience in DevOps with high interest in gaming
Comfortable being a first responder to infrastructure issues
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and with common development tools and practices, including Python environments
Hands-on experience building infrastructure from the ground up with Infrastructure-as-a-Service tools like Terraform or Pulumi
Experience architecting and managing applications at scale using Kubernetes
Experience with Git, with bonus points for experience converting codebases from competing version control systems into Git
Well-acquainted with AWS, but also experienced with GCP, Azure, and even on-premise infrastructure
Passion for monitoring and logging with tools like Grafana and Kibana
Eye for security and data privacy both from a policy perspective and practical engineering tooling
Fluent English, both verbal and written
